January 1st, 2021 – Fishing Tournament Update from Konocti Vista Casino, Resort, Marina

Due to the current COVID-19 Purple Tier and an unclear future regarding protocols for gatherings and social distancing, Konocti Vista Casino, Resort, Marina has decided to continue to not host any fishing tournaments thru the end of March 2021. In February, we sent out updates regarding the second quarter. If tournaments have already obtained their permits for tournaments between January and March, with weigh ins at KVC, they will want to make sure to contact F&W to let them revise the permit, so it remains valid. 

For Room Blocks from January to March and for tournaments and/or room blocks for tournaments after the end of March 2021, please contact the Marketing Manager at 707-262-1900 x 1112, to confirm all events and requests. As of January, the Casino, Hotel, RV Park, K-Store, Snack Bar (Take out only), Players Club and Table Games continue to be open with modified hours, to accommodate guests during their visits.

While this is disappointing for everyone, we are doing this in the interest of safety for our guests, employees, tournament participants and our community. We appreciate your understand and we hope that by April, we will be able to open the Marina to tournaments and events for everyone!

UPDATE 8.3.2020 PUBLIC NOTICE FROM KONOCTI VISTA CASINO, RESORT, MARINA

RE: FISHING TOURNAMENTS

Konocti Vista Casino, Resort and Marina has been working with Bass Tournament Directors, in taking extra steps to ensure participant and public safety during this COVID Pandemic. Although, as concerned community members, we have watched numbers continue to spike in the spread of COVID-19 in California, we feel we need to do our part to assist in lowering the numbers. That is why starting August 15^th, 2020, Konocti Vista Casino, Resort and Marina will no longer host any fishing tournaments thru the end of the year.  While it was a difficult decision to make, we feel it will allow us to more efficiently maintain social distancing and safety protocols on our property, in an effort to keep our guests, team members, fisherman and community safe.
